Victorian Style Vacation Homes

Cape May vacation homesOn the southern tip of New Jersey sits the beautiful town of Cape May. Cape May is a peaceful, relaxing town, with a historic atmosphere. A very popular seaside resort in the 1800s when many people built unique and artistic cottages all along the shore. Many of these homes are used as Cape May vacation homes still today.

Over the years residents have taken a great deal of time and effort to maintain and restore these cottages and put them to use as Cape May vacation homes. The Victorian style architecture of that time is still prevalent today and you can see it everywhere in the establishments and homes in the area.

Cape May also has a very “small town” feel, which makes it very different from the other beach towns in the area. While Cape May maintains that small town feel, there is still an abundance of things to do close to all of the Cape May vacation homes. Many lovely shops and over 40 different restaurants, plus all there is to do at the beach and on the ocean help make Cape May an excellent east coast getaway!
