Sunset Retreat

"Our best vacation ever!" - our grandchildren declared!
Our four grandchildren loved staying at "Sunset Retreat" as did their parents!! Being so close to the bay made for wonderful morning walks looking for seashells and a chance to do some fishing off the jetties. The extra living area gave everyone a space to relax and the deck space for outdoor dining is terrific. The views of the bay, the sunsets and night sky were enjoyed by all ages - especially the meteor showers! The kitchen wonderful for everyone to help get meals together. Two full baths and an great outdoor shower really were appreciated...Close to town, easy to get to the boardwalk - everything was perfect.. We're coming back - the grandkids all voted YES!!

Long Weekend
My wife and I stayed for a long weekend at "Sunset Retreat". It was the perfect place to unwind from work and get away from it all. It's aptly named because every night we were able to watch a gorgeous sunset from the upper deck. The whole house was recently restored so everything is new and top of the line. We are already lining up another long weekend next month and a week long stay next summer.

Peace and quiet
After 30 years of vacationing in Cape May Point - I am now a convert of North Cape May and the Bayside. The peace and quiet, great sunsets, and birding are priceless. Definitely will be back.

Love the porch
Love the views. Loved the window porch, really nice touch! Very nice house. Nice kitchen. All the decks were great to sit outside.

Relaxing Retreat
Sunset retreat was wonderful! My husband and I absolutely loved the wrap around deck and the upstairs deck was phenomenal. What a relaxing spot. Amazing sunset and ocean views. The home was warm and cozy - exactly what we were looking for! Definitely recommend!

Bay & Wildlife Viewing!
Such a great place with so many opportunities for bay & wildlife viewing! So accessible to the bay beach but also very private. The rooftop deck was a huge hit. Nicely furnished and spacious. The outdoor shower is amazing!

Sunset Beauty
What a beautiful home this was! Clean, comfortable, cozy, wonderful location. Perfect place for our cousin’s weekend. Convenient to not only Cape May but other shore points like Wildwood and Wildwood Crest. A lot of great memories were made this past weekend. Will definitely be back for another getaway.

Beautiful in every season!
I came to "Sunset Retreat" for just that, an overnight retreat, on more than one occasion. In Spring, Summer and even the very coldest day of Winter, "Sunset Retreat" is a peaceful getaway from a busy life, the perfect place to recharge and enjoy the beauty of the bay in a relaxing, extremely comfortable home. Walks on the beach are just steps away. Relaxing on the decks or just enjoying the beautiful views from the floor-to-ceiling, bay-facing windows inside give you so many options for taking in the gorgeous surroundings. I am looking forward to booking a longer stay next year!

Spectacular Sunsets Included!
My siblings (and spouses) and I booked a week at this fabulous retreat to celebrate our Mom's 65th birthday. We were pleased to find the house was even more delightful in person. Windows and sliding glass doors to several levels of decks gave beautiful views and beach breezes. Two distinct large living areas allowed for peace in the house when the guys wanted to watch baseball and the girls wanted to watch a chick flick. The walk to the private beach was less than a block away. An outdoor shower in addition to the 2 full bathrooms was a big plus for our group of 7! Access to beach chairs, an umbrella, and bikes without the hassle (not to mention cost) of renting them separately was a big plus for the part of the family that was flying from CA! We will definitely be back next summer...just need to get agreement on which week and who gets the Master Bedroom with deck access...
