Welcome to the historic Albert Stevens House. The house is greatly expanded since it was the office and home of Dr Albert G Stevens with only two bedrooms. Bedrooms There are 12 bedrooms with HD TV easily accommodating up to 30 people. Three bedrooms on the first floor, eight bedrooms on the second floor, large bedroom on the third floor. Ensuite bathrooms for 10 bedrooms, two bedrooms share a bathroom for a total of 11.5 bathrooms. Five bedrooms (some are suite sized) with king beds. Seven queen beds. Two trundle beds in different king suites and a sleeping sofa in Tower Suite. Fully air conditioned house with new mini split air conditioning units and some central air conditioning. An inground heated 40 feet by 16 feet swimming pool with large hot tub and in the water sun deck for lounge chairs. Pool opens beginning of May, closes end of October. Pool towels are provided. Outdoor deck with seating and gas Weber Grill. More seating by pool with gas firepit. Onsite parking for 11 cars. Meter free available street parking. Located on short one way Myrtle Ave across the street from a park, an easy stroll to downtown Cape May's locally unique shops and restaurants. This residential/commercial location provides separation from tourist but easy access to nearby convenience stores, The West End Garage, local breakfast eateries, restaurants, liquor stores, a pharmacy, and local farmers markets all within a very short walk. Some of Cape May's finest beaches are nearby, about a five block walk or ride. Fully stocked new kitchen, granite counter tops, two refrigerators, Keurig coffee machine, two additional drip coffee makers, commercial dishwasher, ice machine and WIFI. The two dining rooms can accommodate up to 24 people with additional seating available in the adjacent enclosed air conditioned sun porch with wine cooler. Linens and towels provided; all beds will be made prior to your arrival. Property starter toiletries, hand soap, dish soap, some sponges, and trash bags. This home is available as a whole house rental (MAX 30 guests) during the summer months. Off season rentals for less rooms can be available.
